Silly man ! How can his estranged wife be expected to appreciate her ex-mother in law's death anniversary ?

She probably was the reason for the estrangement in the first place

There's probably more to it. His wife and mother probably had major issues when his mother was alive.

I think the mom was ticked off at the DIL for getting her son into facebook. Oh, the irony!

funny but true story... husband and I were talking about someone who we both have in out FBs... Husband knows them more closely than I do.

Now this happened in an ER room. Husband had fallen sick so we had to rush him over. While in the waiting room, we began talking.

This person's mention came. I said, 'Yeah they will be away next week anyway'. Husband was surprised and asked how did I know. I said, 'What do you mean how do I know? This is all over her FB for last two weeks. That's how you also know this, right?'.

Husband knew about the trip, but from direct talks as he is very close to them, not via FB. So now we sat there in the ER, with him not in perfect health, and comparing our FB pages on our iPhones... was a funny scene, seeing him smoldering in the waiting room, and forgetting about his health issues. The pouting continued when I went to visit him the next day too, as he wanted to check my FB newsfeed again.

But what a stupidity. To block the husband, but keep the wife... might have been an oversight, coz she fixed it soon after.

.... and in the ensuing brawl, the mom got all worked up, got a heart attack and died of it.

No but seriously, it may not be just abt 'how come you didn't like my status' thingie. There's probably some history to it and the wife ignoring the post abt his mom's death anniversary ticked the man the wrong way.

Did we miss any sarcasm here, Kinni Pinni?

Nope. Never set my foot there. Why? Do they have a bunch of egocentric, insecure weirdos there?
