The ruling Telugu Desam Party is planning a series of temples across Andhra Pradesh with party chief and state Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as its main deity.

The party's plans to have Naidu temples will be unveiled at the foundation-laying ceremony of the new Andhra capital, Amravathi, which is also where one of those temples is likely to be situated. Guntur is another town being considered by the party for the temple

"The temple is set to be located on the banks of the Krishna at Harishchandrapuram in Amaravati – the new Capital Region of the state. The proposed temple will be on government land, though the size of it has not been finalised. This is the brainwave of one Buddi Satish Babu, vice-president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Tullur mandal, the eye of the new capital, Amaravati.

Satish Babu told Firstpost that they had not finalised the maker of the idol yet. “We want to hire the best makers. Mostly, the order will be placed with statue makers in Tenali. We will do it, once we commence the construction,” he said. As regards temple’s rituals, he said they would be no different from five other temples in the village. He is considering appointing a priest (pujari) for this. To a query if he proposed to have rituals like ‘Ashtottharam, Sasharsanama, Abhishekam’ for Chandrababu, Satish said nothing had been planned yet. But pundits will be consulted before drawing up the rituals and procedures."

-> Inquiring minds want to know whether all 3 of his bhakts on suCH are planning to attend this event? Also, one of them claimed that he visited Guntur recently, was that in preparation to acquire land for the temple planned in Guntur?

This is simply not unacceptable.

Amma will soon open "Amma" temples near each Amma canteen, Amma pharmacy, Amma toilet, and Amma Thaneer Pandal.

Seriously, CBN will not agree to this and the guy who is planning it will be put in his place.

Seriously, CBN will not agree to this and the guy who is planning it will be put in his place.

CBN should make a statement right away and on his own that absolutely no temple for him now or when he will be no more.
