no matter what a pakistani believes, remember that india's per-capita gdp (in ppp terms) is a mere one-half of china's, at $6,000/year and $13,000/year, respectively.
you are falling into the same trap that northpeepals have fallen onto: comparing india with pakistan. one wishes that indians would set higher standards for themselves.

If the 4 southern states leave "India", the per-cap income would be about $4000. If Hindi states (BIMARU) were to form a country, per-cap income would be less than $1000.
