Rajamahendravaram has a long history. It was a major navigation port and traded with SE Asia. The Chalukyas made it into a major cultural hub. Nannaya, Veeresalingam Pantulu, etc., are from this city.

The British called it Rajahmundry and "Isuka" veedhi (LOL) became "famous" during their time.

Why Ahmedabad has not been changed. With Modi ji ruling the state for 14 years it should hv been done long long ago..

to hell with the muslim vote - they will never vote for BJP anyway.

Whenever I hear about Rajama..... (too long), it reminds me of that very long railway bridge across the Godavary river and the train station immediately after the bridge.

Anyway, this is your golden oppoertunity to etch your name in the history of Rajamaha.... bcz no one has modified the Wiki page yet.
