What constitutes an International language? Empty What constitutes an International language?

The fact that is is spoken in many countries like Spanish, French,  Russian or even Tamil? 

Or the millions of people who speak it as is the case with Hindi?

Tamils speak Tamilian in Canada, USA, France, Finland, South Africa, Russia, China, Japan, Serbia and in rest of India, so Tamil is an International language.

the northpeepals of gujarat speak gujaratian in kenya, uganda, tanzania, and zambia. gujaratian is an international language.

It seems stupid that Indians who are not native Hindi speakers living in the US want their kids to learn Hindi over their own native tongues or over any international language.
