.......some people are using Vedanta and Sufism as candidates to build Hindu-Muslim "tolerance"........  Wahabis/Sunni treat Sufism as a fringe element that can't give up on the Pagan past. So, Sufis hardly represent the mainstream Muslim thinking. Vedanta becomes blasphemy in Islam because, it advocates independent analysis and questioning dogma. So, if a pieceful guy encounters a Vedantic big mouth, he will do the halal thing.....

When Gandhi wanted to have a prayer (Ram and Rahim ek hain...) before starting a discussion on independence, Jinnah told Gandhi that he didn't need to impose his views on people of other faiths........  I suppose, equating Kafir Ram with the Gaud (that dangles in the sky and orders people around) is blasphemy.....

The problem with that picture is when the kids grow up there will be only the iSlamic flag and the boys will be wearing a Kurta Myjama with a beard and Kullas.
