sometimes it's only when you see a person with a new partner is when you acutely realize how their last partner was so absolutely wrong for them, in terms of personality, age, timing, mindset, families, pretty much everything. At that time though, they and everyone did try to make it work, and tried to make it look like it was right, but all along, you had felt so many undercurrents of it being a huge mismatch. It eventually ends and you know it was the right thing, inspite of all the pain it caused. Still it doesn't hit you until you feel the closure and peace when you see them with the right one.
