What happened, Smita.

I am caught up in the government cuts since 3 weeks ago,
since I receive sick pay, or did. They cut me off. I am T/Aing while
there are no vacancies trying to build up a CV and experience etc. I can
only do part time anyway, and try my best. They are not helping until a
tribunal takes place, so no monetary funds - they have come up with a food
ration voucher to be exchanged at place miles away where there are food
donations from the public. Line up with the alcoholics etc. Temple
has ignored ........ friends family like rats leaving a sinking ship, no one
will talk about it or wishes to face me wanting to talk about this. My
time with facilities is running out so won't even be able to communicate or go
to places to try and get support. They say some payment I can't receive
since I don't have children at home, yet the payment was nothing to do with
children??!! They are lying from the back of their teeth. I could not
celebrate Diwali, I can not be with people, I cannot get anywhere, and the
government are conspiring to subtle mass genocide of sick and disabled
people. It's everywhere but really worse when people you know can't face
you or even to talk. I felt like suicide last night, its amazing how
self-destructive this situation makes one feel, but I have former buried
tendencies, although they haven't risen to the surface for quite some
time. I had bought a car, and life was just starting to get on the up, I
find this unbelievable. Every time I just get to the top of the hill but can
never make the summit. I am hungry and cold, trying to save my fuel for snow
and ice days, and god only knows what type of food donations are at this food
bank if I can at all manage to get there. I try to think in a spiritual way,
but all the time this frustration and indignation at the injustice is raging in
my mind. It feels more hopeless than afraid. These people are
horrible I have never met or talked or tried to negotiate with such horrendous
people, Nazi's!!!!!!! I can't even see a job in the vacancies section which
I am qualified to do, and most are very distant from where I live so couldn't
get there. I am traumatized, absolutely.

My sister said, they can't do this, I told her, they
HAVE! we had a heated argument as she is know it all, thinks I always
dramatize. I sent her a photograph of the food voucher. Don't think
I can ever speak with her again.

I find the majority are spineless and weak when it comes up
to facing others in this type of dilemna. Another one is when people
become terminally sick, when they most need support and love from friends and
family, the sick person is abandoned because others can't face up to talking to
them or they don't even know what to say when just being there being around can
offer some comfort and reassurance to the person. This is totally
spineless and selfish actions, and I find it disgusting.

Apart from this I keep thinking of delicious slices of
chocolate cake, and need a bottle of cooking oil, can't imagine this place will
have a bottle of decent cooking oil. I don't know they didn't send a
Marks and Spencer food voucher so we can have some option of choice from what
we eat, difficult for a vegetarian.

about Chocolate cake:) Seriously, am sure it's quite difficult..wish I could do
more. Do send a note to me, if you feel like it. take care, M

g_k,

What is the matter with you? If you have something to say on the subject, you have to say it on the other forum and to the original poster.

This forum has hit a new low hit on all this copying from the other forum and pasting it here. Doing it with regular posts for fun is one thing but on a post that is so personal is not fair to the OP.

nutmeg,

I agree with you .Smita Samm's comments wern't meant for us .

I realize being on the internet it is free for all to see but why to paste it all here ?

Good luck to Smita. Hope she gets the help and resources she needs.

One thing I will second ....when people need money badly are at the end of their rope their family and friends will avoid them like the plague

touche..didn't quite realize that we have structured our expressions to friends so stringently..

aside -anyways, i am still so confused about the personal aspect that you refer to..it's wasn't a private message or somethin' that i disclosed.
also I am puzzled that this post has brought down the ranking of this august forum to 'a new low hit' ??
