(both of us are WFH today. Seems like he is really working)

me: K, there is no water in the house.

K: what?

me: all the taps... just the sound of air. no water.

K: but it was coming in the morning.

me: not any more.

pause....

me: do something.

K: what can I do? If it's not coming, it's not coming. Wait for sometime.

k, so left many taps open. Hoping if there's any air pressure, it would pass. Hearing some such activities from some taps... *fingers crossed*

Why don't you call your water company and see if they turned off water supply for some reason?

talked to them. the main line is broken. they are repairing it. usually takes a couple hours.

Sure. All you men... well, I found the phone number and called them. Atleast now I know this is a known issue, and someone somewhere is working on it. He could have done the same too.

Shows he is muchO smarter. He already knew there must have been a 100 people already informing the Parking Lot Water dept. And he is sincerely focused on working...

Are you sure that you were the first one to call and the water dept swung into action on getting your call?...

the smarter of the two the more resourceful the more responsible one ends up doing the chore ..

It's like "someone's got to do it !"

and the othe one fully knowing it will be taken care of ....goes for the beer !
