But aren't you the one stumping for Muslim quota although they were the favored and privileged ones for centuries and killed and raped hindu women - including the brahmin women ?

Losing marbles?

And Malas treat Madigas (another SC community) as badly and that is Indian caste system for you. Vadderas (they dig farm fields), Upparas (make bamboo baskets), Rajaka, fisherman etc., usually live on the outskirts of the village.
So where are those anecdotes, Comrade?

PS: The Indian media has realized that this story has no traction. It has all but disappeared from the front pages.

Please do educate yourself rather than being condescending (despite having ZERO idea about the subject), you will end up a better person.

Then what happened, Sevaji? What changed? As the saying goes, one swallow doesn't make a summer. BTW, I'm not bashing Brahmins; I do admire & have a lot respect for Brahmins (Gurajada, Kandukuri Veeresa Lingam etc.), who were at the forefront of many social reforms; it is not an exaggeration to suggest that Brahmin community birthed, especially in the last century or so, most number of progressive thinkers than any other community in India.
To the contrary, to prove the point that brahmins were not the guilty in this, one "swallow" would be enough in this case ... instead I am even giving here the names of three and quite famous ones (Satyakama, Vyasa and Valmiki).

As for the names in the above of people at the forefront of social reforms in the past, that could be like saying that many people are engaged currently in drawing the ancient migration routes of people out of Africa based on genetic tests these days.

Comrade, I am sure caste bias exists just as racial bias does. But this case, if anything illustrates the caste biases of the deceased's family.  And the fraud they committed. The Indian newspapers have moved on. Only the railing fanatics with a chip on their shoulder will keep yelling about it.

PS: Sevaji, more students in India should emulate the person you mentioned in the original post.

This should shut all the comrades up with their half-baked ideas screaming Dalit, Dalit from every rooftop.
