LOL that's out of scope (for this thread).

but i meant gifts don't excite us like they used to when we were little. I was very excited about my cruise and i am about my forthcoming India trip but I don't think anything will make me happy enough to cry like she did. soooo sweet really!

I know what you mean :)The excitement of childhood is an entirely different phenomena

i have learnt not to get too excited or too sad as an adult ..to keep an even temperament .

that way my heart beats steady ,doesn't go up and down ....and disappointments don't wear me out

try it

Oh i already practice it. librans always strive for balance. but then smtimes i get bored of the steady and let my heart feel ups and downs and then back to steady. right now i am going steady.

The day my baby was born...i was in such a state for aleast 7hrs after her birth...nothing can match it ever.

>>>> Reminds me of my kids on xmas morning even 3 or 4 years ago, as they opened their gifts. The most recent event was when we picked up a friend's used car for my older guy. He was trying to be all cool, but couldn't hide the excitement when he called his mom who was out of town that weekend.

Yeah very cute! the way she hugs her mom crying, priceless !

So did you cry when your daughter was born? I can only imagine what it must be like. All parents say the day they became parents was dee most exciting time of their life and first child is always very special.
my name is my mom's password ( lol so predictable). Once she typed it along with the username ( didnt hit tab) and we saw....my sister was like mom is always so partial. she loves 7 more blah blah haha
