There is a widely held view in Indian press that FDI is a diversionary tactic to trip opposition in the current parliament session. How could govt introduce FDI with out taking mamata and DMK into confidence? Congress would rather face FDI question rather than price rise and Lokpal bill.

If it is, Congress pulled off the diversion very effectively. BJP and CPM are huffing and puffing to fight FDI and it will be a forgotten issue by elections.

Mahatma Anna (and therefore, I) totally agree with this. This is a conspiracy by the villainous Empress and her spawn. By dragging in a red herring on the pretext of reducing food inflation and benefiting farmers, the Empress and her hordes are diverting attention from what should be the only item on the nation's agenda i.e. the Jan Lok Pal bill, as drafted by Mahatma Anna's followers.

Raking up any other debate or issue is a clear sign of allegience to the forces of corruption (and by extension, the Empress). This is really a cause for much outrage. Fellow patriots and noble change bringers, I urge you to skip lunch today in solidarity with Mahatma Anna's Sunday afternoon fast. Jai hind!

Well thanks for the merlot dripping brilliant sarcastic congress psycophancy.
Now we are all so enlightened that no Indian should ever raise voice against corruption because they do not have a perfect leader (since god is found wanting to the exacting standards of daruwalas) and they do not have a perfect plan for future change in place. Foolish are those egyptians who raised voice against perpetual tyranny just because they contaminated their cultural heritage by borrowing ideas of democracy from west.

Mahatma Anna is a great man but is also a simple man. He finds your post utterly incomprehensible. Nevertheless, he senses an attempt to divert the attention of the nation from the Jan Lok Pal bill by dragging in utterly extraneous topics such as the bliss-laden dawns being experienced by Egyptian people.

Mahatma Anna (and therefore, I) shall not fall for such vile tricks. Your patriotism is now under question. Kindly prove you're a patriotic Indian by assuring us that you skipped lunch today. Otherwise, we'll be forced to conclude that you are another minion of the evil Empress.

No wonder you were trying to divert attention with talk of bliss-laden dawns and now about sipping alcohol.
