What is in those tax returns? Empty What is in those tax returns?

Trump's campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said on CNN a few months ago that Trump should release his tax returns. Now that she has seen how damaging releasing those returns will be, she doesn't want him to release those returns any more.



What is he hiding?

  • Connections to Putin or his oligarchs
  • Tax evasion
  • Income far lower than what Trump would like us all to believe
  • Lack of charitable giving

Whatever the reasons, they have clearly determined that releasing the returns is going to be worse than defying 60+ years of precedent and refusing to release those returns. If the media and the general public allow him to get away with that, we should expect that future candidates will refuse to release their returns. Trump may well lose but he may kill this healthy precedent.
