it's futile. the enjetis, garimellas, and vishwanathans will soon be buying houses in the very towns the white folks fled to. there is no reprieve.

also why bother so much about white flight? let 'em do whatever they want. maybe they can all move to the american redoubt.

Yes, Johns Creek is the Cupertino of Georgia. Over the years, the whole area has been saturated with Asians and the schools became more and more competitive. They have become so competitive that even indian families started to move to Forsyth county in order to take the stress off their kids' heads. The Koreans and Chinese are too much of a competition to the Indian kids and our kids find it hard to measure up to them and stand the competition. In the process, they are losing their self-confidence. Can't blame the poor whites if they move to different school districts. I don't see it as racism.

Aren't these folks doing a great disservice to the next generation of white kids, by running away from the competition. How can those kids be successful in their lives if they can't take a bit of challenge? Education from Ivys or top schools is not be all and end all, there is lot more to life than graduating from best schools.

the real challenge is in displacing the near monopoly in academia, dominance of super specialty healthcare professionals in and around the coastal/NE areas; not gonna happen, and impossible in the 47th street district - interested or not Wink

from what I've heard, american-born people of indian descent dominate other groups at medical schools these days. do you want that dominance reduced or destroyed? why? what do you have against super-specialty?
