NEW DELHI: Ahead of next year's assembly polls in Punjab, former BJP MP Navjot Singh Sindhu has floated a new front called "Awaaz-e-Punjab."

"Along with Pargat Singh and Bains brothers, we have formed a front," Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of Navjot Singh Sindhu, said.

The front formed by Navjot Singh Sidhu, Pargat Singh and Bains brothers willl be called "Awaaz-e-Punjab". The 'Awaaz-e-Punjab' will be formally launched next week, reports said.

Earlier, there were reports that Navjot Singh Sidhu+ may join AAP.

Amid reports that Sidhu wanted to be the chief ministerial candidate of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal had on August 19 said that the cricketer- turned-politician had not put any pre-condition and just needed "time to think" about his future plans.

"Would Navjot Sidhu ji join AAP -- lot of rumours? Its my duty to put forward our side. We have greatest greatest regard for this cricket legend. He met me last week. Didn't put any pre-condition. He needs time to think. Lets respect that," Kejriwal said in a tweet.

Kejriwal further tweeted : "He is a very good human being and a cricket legend. My respect for him would continue whether he joins or not."

Sidhu had resigned from the Rajya Sabha on July 18+ , sparking off speculation that he may join the AAP.

Looks like Sidhu kicked Kraziwallah in the groin. Now, Kraziwallah will bark that this is all a conspiracy by Modi and Sidhu to hurt AAP. Since BJP is not doing well in Punjab, Sidhu put in his fake resignation papers in Rajya Sabha so that he can first fool CONmen and Kraziwallah and then float a new party to split AAP and CON votes so that his party and BJP can form the next govt. Kraziwallah will soon attend a Vipassana camp so that he can cry in silence......

He probably wanted to be declared as the C.M. candidate by AAP in the next elections in Punjab.
