Saw this on Facebook. Would love to see this gain traction on secular media.


"We appreciate Crackerless Diwali, Waterless Holi, Less Height of Dahi Handi, Clay made eco friendly and noiseless Ganesh Festival. In fact, I myself went for Eco Friendly Idol this Ganesh Festival.

But at the same time, We demand Eco Friendly Eid too...Cut a Cake and Not an Animal.

Prove that you indeed belong to Religion of Peace

We campaign for Bloodless and Pollution Less Bakri Eid!!!

Please support this initiative to maintain Secular Fabric and Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb of India

And this post is NOT about veg vs non veg but about sacrifice due to religious reasons. When Nepali brothers can stop the animal sacrifice festival. Why can't muslims?

Also this is about gallons of water wasted in cleaning meat and blood dripped roads. Diseases caused because of lack of hygiene. Also carbon dioxide released from killed animal body."
