The whole media is leftist, except fox. They don't care how bad the candidate is. They support him/her anyway. 
Haven't we seen the whole national media rallying behind Rahul Gandhi, though he was such a horrible choice for the PM post? 

I wish the media were more centrist and unbiased.

they did spend a lot of time addressing that part in the endorsement and the article. But to highlight

Unfair to compare the politics of India and the US. Both have different needs to fulfill domestically, different security concerns, and different expectations from the rest of the world. What applies here may not work there and vice versa.
