personality. charm. ability to connect with people. the x-factor

reagan vs carter
clinton vs bush sr
clinton vs dole
w vs gore
w vs kerry
obama vs mccain
obama vs romney
trump vs hillary

the boring, proper, intellectual looking candidate lost everytime.
forget about democrat or republican. the issues. the economy. race. demography of the electorate. red/blue states and reams of analysis.
a w with dui , clinton/trump with multiple affairs and scandals still won if they have a charming personality.
howard dean could've won against w. the dems missed a trick and punished him for celebrating too much. unpresidential they said. lol.

Yes. In the era of television, what mattered was connecting with people on TV. Regan, Clinton, Bush and Obama were all good at that. In the future, it is going to be about connecting with people on social media. Trump is good at connecting with people on both media.

This is proven from 2016 election that USA is a sexist country. In general, women are sexists and prejudiced against women.

Women are fine with a proven sexual predator who acknowledges on audio/video how he treats women over another woman who used a private email server and deleted emails.

this was a public service announcement.
so next time you don;t have to follow months of election news and analysis to find who is going to win. as soon as the names of winners in primaries are know, you will know the result.
ps:if trump decides not to run for second term, and if pence is the candidate, you can bet that he will lose.

Having a reviled, corrupt career politician as an opponent helps a lot. I said this before also - this election is about how much voters dislike Hillary and if the level of dislike is enough to make them vote for her opponent.

Some of Trump voters dislike does not stop at Hillary. They will continue stretching their expression beyond election day and they want to reach out and harm someone unlike them. 

Yes. Trump won the election using scorched earth policy depending upon the worst side of human attitude. Hillary has problems.  Democrats have problems. But all of those are minor problems compared to the dangerous forces unleashed by this years rhetoric.  These are not forces that Trump can control , even if he wants to, by appealing to them.  USA and its citizens have to pay a price to clean up this mess.

What is "charm" for one, is "hatred" for another.

Applies to all - Hillary, Trump, Obama, Sridevi, Juhi, Shahrukh, Rajni, Jayalalitha, and finally Sonali Bendre.

Nope.

Charm is a mere simplification of looks!

One must understand - 

What is majority of India?

98$ of Indians do NOT have a debit/credit card.

And 2% debate on such forums?

Indians - take it for granted - that cash is ok to transact! How and why?

Who told them that it is OK to transact with cash?

Our previous generations did, our previous governments did!

Its NOT ok.

The world has moved on to a life - wherein I pay my electricity, water, phone, internet, TV cable bills - all within 5 mins in USA. At 2 AM.

Why do I need cash for? Ask any human in USA as to how much cash they carry, and I'd be shocked if anyone had over $100 with them. 

I have personally NOT seen a $100 note in last 10 years of my life in US.

A $50 bill - I dont think I have ever seen it.

Whats the need?

An unorganized economy, needs to be shaken up in India.
