It seems Sasikala's husband is a power broker and the couple helped out Jaya during the early post MGR days when she was under threat from all corners. Remember, Jaya got yanked out of MGR's funeral procession vehicle and also got beat up in the assembly in her early days.

Yeah, I agree. People tried to crush her and that probably left a permanent scar on her psyche and probably Sasikala and her husband helped her out during her rough phase. But, still the kind of blind patronage she offered them is mind boggling!

Jaya was a diabetic. If Sashikala wanted to kill her, all she needed to do was to feed Jaya highly tasty (high in fats and carbs) food regularly. It might have taken years but the organs would have deteriorated. On top of it, looks like Jaya didn't do any exercises......

On the day of Jaya's cardiac arrest, she was apparently watching a recorded TV program. Apparently, she was doing fine and the hospital staff was confident that she was recovering fast.

Is it possible that Sashikala poisoned her on that day?

Why is Sashikala in a hurry to bury Jaya so quickly? Apparently, many leaders wanted to pay their tribute but couldn't because of the hurry to bury her.

Is Sashikala trying to hide something?

If you are confident of the information you are posting, you should write a book. There are enough tamils to swallow this dramatic poison on their way to a melodramatic ending.

I have to give you some points for very vivid imagination and for pulling together different pieces of Jaya's life to make the story read plausible.

I do not know whether Sasikala and her relatives poisoned Jaya but they definitely are poising whatever is left of democratic institutions in TN.

The problem for Tamil people is "How low can you go"?.

One last question: Is there more to the relationship between Jaya and Sasikala beyond the so called friendship or platonic companionship?
