How is your Mayawati doing? Too bad she cannot actively seek out dalits or minorities now during the campaign. With limited access to illegal cash and now this ruling, it seems a double whammy for her.

i am an Akhilesh supporter. He is pro-development and has a clean reputation. He is also staunchly secular. if Akhilesh wins the upcoming UP elections he will become the nemesis of NaMo in the 2019 General Elections.

Akhilesh cannot win by himself. He needs to lean on Congress and other parties for support. If and when he can win UP all by himself we'll discuss his abilities to compete with NaMo.

isn't NaMo going to retire from politics when he reaches 75?
---
Is 75 years the official retirement age in formal politics? Or is it so only for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)? Soon after coming to power in May 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the rule that leaders above 75 should not hold any administrative post in Central or state governments.

*My Prediction*
I don't think NaMo will stay in active electoral politics past 2029 any which way. It may be as early as 2025/26 too (if that happens to be his third term). If 2024-2029 happens to be his second term then he will continue to the end of the term before calling it quits.

Based on the leaders we see today Amit Shah looks to be the one succeeding NaMo. Then again 10+ years is a long time in politics. Who thought in early 2000s that NaMo will lead BJP and be the PM.
