Oh wow... but guess not that possible in other countries, because I think you need your passport as an id.

Finished reading this.
So the guy will get away with community service, and continue to go to college. Which I think is ok. Seems like he's spooked enough never to repeat this.
But the kids that he cheated for will continue the college too, as it is ETS policy not to report this to the colleges. Not sure what other ways will they be punished, if at all.
And no talks about improving the securities either.

If those "clients" do well in college then the society unearthed potential future leaders.
If they fail, then it is clear evidence that such gimmicks don't help much.
Now srsly, the colleges look at EVERYTHING - school grades, essay, SAT, etc...when the grades and SAT scores are incompatible, the college admission committee will/should look closely.
It will be interesting if they can track these "clients" and identify the colleges that admitted them. They clearly knew and overlooked or did not do a proper job. I am pretty sure the clients did not end up in any tier-1 or tier-2 colleges.

>>>> The kid got away with a slap on the wrist and he is not the only one doing this. While schools may pick up on vast discrepancies between GPA and the SAT scores, that still leaves a wide berth for those with a fair-to-middling GPA. They probably ended up in schools they are not qualified for. If they cheated on this, it is quite possible they will plagiarize or pay someone to do their papers and end up with a degree. Is there any wonder there are crooks on wall street? A sad state of affairs indeed.
