Air strikes
Why? Why do we want to rescue future criminals, rapists and terrorists? Isn't that why we wanted to ban any Syrian from entering the US and stop refugees from coming?

OTOH this might just be some well-coordinated theatrics. He's probably informed Putin who in turn asked Assad to move his equipment and get ready to have some of porta potties bombed.

Re: Air strikes
This fucking bastard, the pussy-grabber had tweeted before calling Obama fool for strikes in Syria.
He's is masking these strikes to diverge from his Russian ties investigation.

Re: Air strikes
Now the Russian and American governments will rattle some sabers and make it seem like things are escalating. After raising temperatures enough to drive oil prices up so Putin can balance his budget, they will agree to a bigly beautiful deal to save the world from nuclear war. It will involve lifting sanctions on Russia imposed for his illegal occupation of Crimea.MaxEntropy_Man wrote:OTOH this might just be some well-coordinated theatrics. Re: Air strikes
McCain says we've won Iraq under George W but Obama came and lost it. He blamed Obama for everything else (Afghanistan, Syria etc.,) and called 8 years of failure. He says, we should have a long-term plan to rebuild Syria (by taking out Assad) even though previous attempts of rebuilding in other nations have gone horribly wrong. The atmosphere in last couple of days, yet again proves that majority of politicians are hawkish and majority of Americans are still just as dumb as they were in 2001-2003. They haven't learned anything from those debacles called rebuilding nations/spreading democracy. Has any American ever demanded accountability from the military for their rash decisions that took lives of hundreds if not thousands of civilians including children? When will they stop treating these so-called served-the-nation as a special class, a behavior not very different from the treatment of upper-class folks in India, why are they copying the same caste system they despise, otherwise? beats me.

Re: Air strikes
War is a lucrative business for so called defense companies and the politicians bought out by them. The media has done a great job of under-reporting the devastation unleashed by the military, portraying it as unavoidable collateral damage.confuzzled dude wrote:McCain says we've won Iraq under George W but Obama came and lost it.
