I have some personal liking for Diggy Raja, but i would like to express my reservations about him about one point.

Minority appeasement to some extent is ok. For instance, there is nothing wrong in pointing out that terror attacks have not always been done by islamic fundamentalists, but also by hindu extremists. But going out of your way to do minority appeasement to the extent that he is going against what even the home minister and PM are saying about a particular encounter (Batla house encounter) is worthy of criticism. One can understand why he is doing this--he is pandering to the muslim vote just before the UP elections. (In UP, 18% of the population is muslim.) Of course, every party is playing the caste and religion card to the maximum extent --in U.P. at least-- and for this reason everyone who does so has to be criticized including Diggy Raja.
