read an interesting speculation about whether BJP President Amit Shah is a descendant of Persian king Nadir Shah who had invaded India, indulged in loot and slaughter, and then returned to his homeland. Of course, there is no obvious connection between Amit and Nadir, but it is interesting that both hindus and muslims may have the surname 'Shah'.
