The ONE and ONLY Baahubali!!
The first ever Indian movie to have crossed Rs. 1000 crores collections worldwide and continues with its collections galore (Bahubali 1 and 2's collections so far is close to Rs. 1600 crores). It also broke MANY records of Bollywood as the, 'The first bollywood movie to have crossed.......'. That's remarkable considering that it's a dubbed Hindi movie from Telugu. Prabhas seems to be the nation's heart throb and Rajamouli is addressed as the director of the decade.
Babhubali is going to be another all time classic like Mayabazaar, the other movie created by the genius telugu director, K.V Reddy.
In other news, the other brilliant telugu director, Kasinathuni Vishwanath will be awarded Dada Phalke award this year. But, as Ram Gopal Varma commented, 'It has to be the other way around. An award needs to be created on K. Vishawanth's name and Dada Phalke got to be awarded that.' I don't know much about dada saheb, but K. Vishwanath is an awesome director whose movies I enjoyed watching while growing up.
Telugus rarely brag about themselves. They soar to new heights silently. With much discomfort, I added 'telugu' in the above post.
May it not stir up jealousy in others . Bahubali, of course, is the nation's pride.

Just as without Aurangajeb India is nothing, Telugu is nothing without Nizam and Arcot nawabs.......
If you disagree with the above, talk to Rashmun......
Actually, Telugus don't need to brag. The cinema industry in Madras, in its initial stages, was mostly due to the efforts of Telugus. At that time, even Bombay was a small player. In Madras, Tamils took over and made it a further success (NTR and others moved out of Madras because of Tamil, aka DK, politics).......

It is regretful that there is no fitting memorial for him in Coimbatore. Undoubtedly, Samikannu Vincent is the founding father of cinema in South India, but film historians and other cultural chroniclers have not given him his due.
