Waiting for headlines to match
Not 'opinions', not 'media buzz', 'not 'two sides of the coins'.
The headlines must match. coz that will be a sign that either impeachment will happen or the case is closed forever.
The current mismatch:
Cnn: the competency question
Fox News: slain dnc staffer was Wikileaks source

Almost, but with a slight twist
CNN: Russia offers to clear things up
FoxNews: 'SCHIZOPHRENIA': Putin weighs in, offers to help with US intel probe
As long as there are explanations, distractions, and support on FoxNews, it's a clear indicator Republicans are nowhere close to begin impeachment.

At this point, they will agree to an independent investigation. That will slow things down a little, with a new commission or prosecutor being appointed and them getting ramped up on the details gathered so far. Things will get more interesting next Tuesday when Comey testifies in a public hearing.
Republican support for Trump stands north of 80%. It needs to fall to about 50% before impeachment will be considered by Ryan. About 40% of Republicans will always support Trump, even if there is a video of Trump pausing during a speech to Congress to stab Ted Cruz to death. Those are the arrogantly-ignorant and aggressively-bigoted people who supported him in the first few primaries. The remaining 40% of Republicans who support him do so because of party affiliation. Polls taken at the end of next week will tell us whether their support is eroding and if so, how quickly. I am not optimistic about impeachment proceedings.

And then I see this:

[Rep.] Amash [R-MI] tells reporters that if Comey memo allegations are true, it's grounds for impeachment. Says he trusts Comey more than Trump.

But redstate is a "cuckservative" website and are made up of "Rinos". The tide will turn when true believers on Breitbart turn.

Today Amash voted to block an independent prosecutor. On a measure he cosponsored. So another big-talk-no-action Republican.
The bill’s 199 cosponsors include two Republicans – Jones and Rep. Justin Amash, of Michigan. Amash voted with his party to block bringing up the bill.
