yeah. almost  all of ém are my favs...

kishore kumar had that wonderful mainstream male voice which is quite deceptive actually, because most men could readily jump and identify with it's tonal quality, but can't sing like him as it's demands are quite hidden and tantalizing, until one attempts at it.

I'm watching that Javed Akhtar 13 episode program on Netflix. Javed Akhtar can tell a story really well and crafts it best. 

I'm learning a lot about Hindi film industry from 1930s onwards and few things jump out. SD Burman was one of the best (or the best) music directors. Rishikesh Mukherjee made THE best movies of my liking. 

50s and 60s were the Golden Age of Hindi Music industry.

... and I'm so happy I don't listen to crappy music of today. (example DJ wale Babu).
