Sandilya Sir - The 'Salya sArathyam' is widely used to indicate someone who seems on your side but speaks for or strengthening the opposing view point. The analogy is never extended to mean that 'your' side represents Kauravas or you represent Karna etc. Analogies have limited scope just to drive the specific point and not be extended for the whole context of the represented story. I thought you should already know this.
