Haasan is trying to become another Sikular politician. TN has seen enough of DKheads running the show. Voters will eventually turn their backs to such politics. The states will be forced to become financially responsible for their own welfare programs with the new formula in place. States will get more money but they can't depend on handouts from the central govt. So, Sikular handouts will be phased out. Laloos, K'nidhis, Mulayams, etc., won't succeed in future.

There's a specific context to this:
kamal is continually harassed on a daily basis that he selectively criticizes only the state government but not the center, and that he is a BJP's puppet/supporter.

He does not seem to have a clue about the need for demonetization, i.e. to cut down the number of fake currency notes in circulation (especially Rs. 500 and 1000 notes) and at the same time take out in open the hoarded and black money. More than a crore (10 million) bank accounts were opened by new bank customers just after the declaration of demonetization to help people put their money in banks and change old notes, which otherwise would not have happened. There was also a lot of new tax money (on previously undeclared money) going to the national treasury as a result of demonetization.

Not really.
More than a crore (10 million) new bank accounts opened suddenly right after the implementation of demonetization are actual quantitative proof that this thing worked.
