Hindi as official language in UN : Hindian hypocrisy
Hindi colonial Indian government wants its language Hindi as one of the official languages of the UN so that business gets transacted in UN using Hindi.
It denies the same official status to languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and so on with millions of speakers within India in all union government entities.
Non Hindians settled in other countries should advertise this hypocrisy and pressure their governments to act against this move.

Thanks PS, for the news.
Both Congress and BJP are attempting this for years.

OUTLINE
1. A Request to Make Hindi an Official Language of United Nations
2. Our Objection to Hindi in the United Nations
3. Hindi Imposition and Language Discrimination within India Should Stop First
4. Hindi is not the Language of a Billion People
5. Opposition to Hindi Imposition in India
6. How about Indian Peoples' Mother Tongues in Indian Parliament?
7. What is the Benefit of Making Hindi an Official Language at the United Nations?
8. Our Request to the United Nations
A SAMPLE
Currently Members of Parliament can speak only in Hindi or English at the Indian parliament unless they give notify the speaker one-day notice of their intention to speak. Even with notification, they will not be allowed to ask secondary questions in their mother tongue. I suggest that the Indian government spend the crores of Rupees it is willing to give the United Nations to make Hindi there, to hire full-time translators for all Indian languages (not just Hindi) in parliament. Then peoples' representatives (members of parliament) can fully participate in the democratic process of parliamentary affairs. Now good leaders from non-Hindi areas hesitate to contest parliamentary elections because they cannot effectively represent the people there.

Re: Hindi as official language in UN : Hindian hypocrisy
Hindi will become one of the official languages at U.N. not because of the Indian Govt., but because other countries might see it as useful. Don't forget there was some talk once, many decades ago, that India should be included as the permanent member of UN Security Council in the place of China.

See what the Singapore leader says about India/Language and it should answer this too.

The people of India don't find Hindi useful enough, judging by the growing demand for "English medium" education. There are no other countries in the world that will find it useful if the United Nations used Hindi in its business.

Hindi is useful for Hindians to colonize non Hindians in India. For example, almost all union government conducted exams are provided in two languages English and Hindi and not in other languages helping folks from Hindi regions garner the union government jobs all over India.
it is like the English colonial times when officers from England are sent to govern the uncivilized natives, only now instead of English government workers it is Hindian government workers.

We should be grateful that Hindians are willing to come and work here in non-Hindi areas. They are super smart and know what they are doing.
