These sources say the report is “explosive,” stating they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates.

The purported Russian activity involves the hashtag #ReleaseTheMemo, a reference to a secret congressional report about President Donald Trump’s allegations that he was wiretapped by the Obama administration. A group that tracks Russian-linked social media influence campaigns says the volume of Russian-related #ReleaseTheMemo traffic represents the most coordinated such effort since their website launched in early August.
“I’ve never seen any single hashtag that has had this amount of activity behind it,” said Bret Schafer, an analyst who helps runs the Hamilton 68 dashboard , a project with the Alliance for Securing Democracy at the German Marshall Fund. It tracks about 600 accounts that it says are tied to Russian-sponsored influence and disinformation campaigns; most of those accounts were promoting the same meme Friday.

That Chris Wray, the Republican FBI director handpicked by Trump (after firing Comey for not clearing him in the Russia investigation) thinks the memo "contains inaccurate information" and "paints a false narrative."

Now Trump's own appointee to lead the FBI is saying publicly that the memo is fundamentally inaccurate and has material omissions of fact. Trump is prioritizing politics over national security.
The “F.B.I. was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it,” Mr. Wray said in a statement. “As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.”
Mr. Wray had strongly objected to the move to release the memo and was allowed to review it only on Sunday, after the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Representative Devin Nunes of California, relented. F.B.I. officials say privately that Mr. Trump, who wants to see the memo released, is prioritizing politics over national security and is putting the bureau’s reputation at risk.

If any of the allegations Nunes makes here is true, why did he and his fellow Republicans vote to reauthorize FISA a few weeks ago without adding any protections for American citizens? The answer is that the memo is purely political. They have enough confidence in the FISA process to reauthorize it with no changes, but want to help cover up the Russian interference.
The FISC accepted four times the government's contention that Carter Page was a Russian agent. On at least two of those occasions, the president was one Donald Trump. His own handpicked Republican appointees signed off on the applications. So Carter Page, whom Trump personally named as one of his foreign policy advisers, is a Russian agent. “The latest attacks on the FBI and Department of Justice serve no American interests – no party’s, no president’s, only Putin’s. The American people deserve to know all of the facts surrounding Russia’s ongoing efforts to subvert our democracy, which is why Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation must proceed unimpeded. Our nation’s elected officials, including the president, must stop looking at this investigation through the warped lens of politics and manufacturing partisan sideshows. If we continue to undermine our own rule of law, we are doing Putin’s job for him.”
It is time for patriotic Republicans to take a stand for their country over their party. It is good to see John McCain choose the right side.

This systematically debunks Nunes's claims. In addition, the following things become very clear from these memos:
Devin Nunes is the Carter Page of Congress. His memo has helped confirmed that the Russian interference was very real, including active attempts to collude. The charges Mueller filed last week provide additional details. At this point, Republicans who refuse to accept the seriousness of the Russian interference are putting Trump above America.

- Donald Trump had at least two Russian agents on his campaign foreign policy team: Papadapoulos and Page
- These Russian agents were actively discussing with Russian officials the Russian hack of emails that the latter planned to release with the objective of helping Trump
- Papadapoulos and Page were not the only Trump people under FBI investigation in July 2016 -- the redaction indicates this
- Some aspects of Steele's dossier have been confirmed
