Yes I would, but this narrative of a good guy protecting us from a bad guy always works in the movies but not all the time in practice. Specious arguments aside, the solution is removal of AR-15s and the 200 or 2000 guns that fire just like it from public circulation. It's staring us in the face. That article by the emergency room radiologist from the Broward hospital makes it very clear.

so ok, as per Trump, arm military bases and schools... what next? A deranged guy with access to an AR-15 or worse gun can easily target a school bus, or any close entry/exit point of the school. Even if the 'good guy' reaches there in under 3 minutes, that's still 100 shots fired with potentially 20 killed. Then what do we do, send a cop in each school bus? Then what happens. A deranged guy with easy access to guns can target a school bus stop, where at a time 20 kids + parents could be waiting. So what do we do now? Have each bus stop equip a parent with a gun?

and so on... basically keep selling more guns. Make NRA more powerful than ever. What's the ultimate solution, attach a gun to each toddler's hand? now THAT will be a level-playing field.
