Venkaiah makes a good point but.....
.....he doesn't realize that decades of Sickular perversion has made the average Indian a self-deprecating fool.....

Re: Venkaiah makes a good point but.....
Just as fake swamis (Nityananda, Besharam Baba, Ram Rahim, etc.) are making money on gullible people, fake politicians (Doggy, Laloo, Pappu and a recent entrant to the group - Mondi, etc.) are trying to harness votes making fake promises. They are all contributing to "building" a Sickular "culture". Just as followers of Besharam Baba and Ram Rahim indulge in attacking those who question their leaders, Mondi-bhakts are attacking those who expose Mondi on social media. So, both left- and right-wing Sickularisms suck. Garibi-Hatao/Acche-Din are two sides of the same coin.......

What good did cataract and plastic surgeries do to the the future generations? Did the west reinvent most of that stuff or did they just copied these techniques from Sushruta? I think ancient Indians did a great disservice to human race by not sharing. Fools are those who keep gloating/hallucinating about great past; like that good old adage మా తాతలు నేతులు తాగారు మా మూతులు వాసన చూడండి

I see that you're deflecting. Sycophant Venkaiah and other BJP idiots are as useful to present India as those ancient Indians who kept everything to themselves, were to future generations.Vakavaka Pakapaka wrote:Mee Sickularism baaga mudiripOindi.....confuzzled dude wrote:What good did cataract and plastic surgeries do to the the future generations? No, I am not deflecting. Hindu self-deprecation can only be stopped by Hindus themselves. Sickularists won't solve the problem, they are the cause.confuzzled dude wrote:I see that you're deflecting. Ancient Indians did share, and people currently (including the present day Indians) are using that ancient knowledge without knowing its really great value or the original source.confuzzled dude wrote:What good did cataract and plastic surgeries do to the the future generations? Then what happened to the Indian version of cataract or plastic surgery? How did that help the following generations of India let alone the world?Seva Lamberdar wrote:Ancient Indians did share, and people currently (including the present day Indians) are using that ancient knowledge without knowing its really great value or the original source.confuzzled dude wrote:What good did cataract and plastic surgeries do to the the future generations? My comment was in general with respect to your statement "I think ancient Indians did a great disservice to human race by not sharing. " and not to any specific treatment for cataract or the plastic surgery.confuzzled dude wrote:Then what happened to the Indian version of cataract or plastic surgery? Btw we had a guy named Tulasi Ram in my village (Ansoli). He was illiterate but became orthopedic specialist by teaching himself the fixing of broken bones in animals. Eventually he became so good that he would repair multiple fractures in bones of both humans and animals. I once asked my wife after marriage whether she had heard about our village prior to the marriage (she belonged to a village 10 miles away from ours). She replied "yes, I learnt about it regarding Tulasi from your village as he fixed my brother's broken leg and repaired a multiple fracture in the leg of our buffalo-calf."
Btw Tulasi did all this fixing without any x-rays or using the plaster. The same technique must have been used in fixing broken bones thousands of years ago in India by others also.
