Re: Gujarat: Tampering of history
there is nothing wrong in calling him nawab of ayodhya. the word awadh came from ayodhya itself . besides , all hindu contemporaries of the nawab of awadh like the maratha peshwas or rajput kings or jat kings used to call him the nawab of ayodhya only . even the common hindu population of awadh used to call their nawab as nawab of ayodhya .
are we supposed to use the name used by the vast majority of the population or by the muslim minority ??

The authors, meanwhile, attributed the
mistakes to printing errors. "I do not know how the mistake crept in.
Now that it has been pointed out, we will bring it to the notice of the
review committee which is looking into the many errors in the book,"
says Vikesh Pandya, the author who compiled the history portion of the
textbook. Another author, Anil Raval, said: "This is an oversight in
which I played no part."
