would you rather....
oh boy this is a tough one...
let's see..
i would want kids to listen to me the first time, but i also somewhat like the surprise element when they don't and come up with smarter solutions than what i was saying...
i am fine with the sleep i get, at this stage of life
i don't have a loving husband, but i have an energetic ex that runs maybe 75% of the common errands. I do desi groceries mostly but i try everytime to offload this too to him. Shuttling the boy around is mostly him, when he's home.
household chores, yeah that's the one i wish i never had to do. Especially cleaning, ugh. Cooking too. Laundry as well. Oh well.
So my choice is A

Life is not perfect for anyone.
Not because life is not fair, but because our definition of its "perfection" vary.
I smile at household chores. Immaterial and minimal. Easy. I do them smilingly. Overblown by house-husbands.
Children do listen. Teens dont. Young adults never. Did you? Then why complain. Its the cycle of life.
Perfect 8 hours sleep? Whoever asked this Q, does not know the meaning of "perfect". People seek "perfect" in their lives. Perhaps, God is?
A husband becomes perfect just by running errands?
Hmm. Now I question the basic intelligence of the person who asked these questions that I wasted 5 minutes to answer.
Does a wife become perfect by running the chores?
Eh?
Stupidity!

Re: would you rather....
guess it doesn't make much to make us women happy, most of us anyway, or atleast in my case.
just the other day it snowed here more than expected. didn't even strike me that the cars are out in the driveway and the roads need to be cleaned. Suddenly, while on my laptop at 9, i go - oh, don't we need to shovel our driveway and clean our cars? XH replied he has cleaned the cars already, and the rest of it will be ok tomorrow, just need to clean the heap the plows made. My friend was like - such a good guy, and i was like - guess i take some things for granted...
but yeah, sharing work is part of the modern life, atleast in this country. And when there is an imbalance of any kind, you naturally start dreaming of the opposite. It's kinda natural. Moms with toddlers will value sleep the most, moms with children who don't listen will give anything to make them listen, and so on.

It’s a hypothetical question. Pick one.
Chores are tiring. I pick never having to do chores again ????

Hi 7,
How are U?
Good to see U.
Its not been easy being a TS, without folks like U.
Always being judged and abused.
Its hard to find a friend for a seeker of truth.
But so be it.
I miss QB, after seeing your handle.
Regards.
