The citizenship card / certificate is a must to keep a valid record / registry of nation's citizens. Even Bangladesh, India's neighboring country, is known to have implemented that program for its citizens since 2005.

Is the law not biased? There are crores of Indians who lack documents to prove their citizenship but Hindus are covered one way or the other (per Shah's blueprint), If you're a Muslim, and doesn't have a document of proof, chances are that you won't be covered under any law. I'm not even sure, why I'm responding to a moron like you.Seva Lamberdar wrote:The citizenship card / certificate is a must to keep a valid record / registry of nation's citizens. The confusion and inconvenience currently while implementing NRC and CAA is due to the nationality issue not tackled and resolved earlier under previous Govts. If it is not settled now, it will only get worse.

Looks like Modi has made you high 24x7. You will definitely lose your Indian citizenship in NRC. No, not the Indian citizenship you gave away to become US citizens, but one you pretend to worry about.
Cutie Pie Babe,
Indian citizens need not worry from NRC. They are fine, as long as they can bring 3 witnesses who can vouch for them, even if they don't have documents. But what you Rohingyas and Bangla Muslims? I know you are worried about them. Yes, they will get their ass kicked.

India needs to go through NRC and CAA for better information and identification of its citizens. It should have been done decades ago -- in 1950s, 1960s and so on. Since it was not done earlier, there are problems now and much opposition to the implementation of much needed citizenship program. But the situation will only get worse as long as this program is not carried out fully.southindian wrote:Awww baby, confuzzled dude wrote:Is the law not biased?
