To dissuade similar incidents in future involving the media hype and controversy due to the publication of photographs and videos afterwards, the temple authorities probably need to put a ban on photography (including video shooting) by the visitors (including devotees) during prayer and in the prayer / worship area of the temple, rather than dealing with it strictly in terms of Hindu-nonHindu issue for entering the temple.
