Strange ruling from the court on strip searches Empty Strange ruling from the court on strip searches

OK, the constitution does not prohibit this. Is this an explicit proviso (which would be rather odd) or is the document silent on this? If it is the latter, the court saying go ahead with this as and when you please seems like wretched excess. It also flies in the face of individual rights, the conservatives in the court seem to be championing on the health care issue. As the article points out, it is not as though there aren't other alternatives. Agree with the dissenters on this.

Skewed rights.

Cops have freedom to search individuals
Individuals have freedom to carry concealed weapon
pseudocops have a right to stand their ground
But, black individuals have no right to walk on the road

They have no right to wear a hoodie
pseudocops have a right to get out of car and chase down someone.
Cops can ask for immigration status
Cops have rights to search your car.

oh yeah... But, a black guy has no rights to conceal a weapon and chase down a white guy and shoot him.
