New Delhi: Former telecom secretary Dinesh Shankar Mathur today told a Delhi court that he had warned his former boss then telecom minister A Raja that preponing cut-off date for receipt of new applications for Unified Access Services Licences may be considered ‘arbitrary and it may give rise to legal complications later on’.

It's a perfectly valid and logical coinage. Those language gurus who turn up their noses and say: "Oh there's no such word as prepone" should just shove it and learn to get on with the times.

If Raja had a competent lawyer who is well known in ni-si synthesis, could argue that the aryans didnot want the dravidian minister to excel and hence they confused him and hence the blame should be on ni-IAS officers:)

I guess Karuna is not helping his raja much..

he should take the hindi defense. all these peoplke talked to me in hindi and hindian gov did not provide tamil translatars. i just signed the papers without knowing what it says. remember he has to sign all orders in hindi also,
