Yeah I clicked the pix. There are a few more but I posted the few I liked. Went with a friend from CA who has an innate need to see new things and explore new turf. You can see him in the pic with the tree lined path.

Ya Trace...start using Picasa. It's a fantastic, REALLY easy to use piece of software. For this pic, I used the "lomo-ish" preset in Picasa.

Thanks Impy. Ya it's a nice place to chill out in. I would have liked some sunshine though. The day was totally overcast, so now so 'interesting' for photography. On the + side, there was nobody else in the place so it felt like a private park

This is awesome, Bittz, loved the composition of every picture in the 2nd set. The misty weather adds to it instead of the regular Fill Flash or Reflector usage in sunshine, IMO.
How about some more pics of the biking trail close to ur place...

Thanks, yeah the thing about overcast days is that you get 'consistent finish' shots. On sunny days, one can get harsh shots or really good ones, depending on where the sun is in the sky at that point in time.
When I go biking, I can't lug my regular camera. Once or twice I've taken a small point&shoot but yeah, this summer I'll probably take some outdoor/park pix.
Picture threads are fun except when somebody decides to upload 220 hazy pix of their trip to Yosemite

Glad you liked the pix and I'm sure you'll have a good time when you visit. The restaurant is very nice. We sat in the bar for a beer and had a nice chat with the bartender who also took us into the kitchen for a tour. Here's ONE pic:
