I am just curious. Do you really believe the claim that Madhava figured out a way to find the value of Pi accurately 200 years before Lebinitz?

madhava and others figured out much much more than that. here check this out:

and the hammering in the western literature by people like rajeev sarada has finally begun to payoff. i saw in an american middle school textbook a formula that used to be referred to as heron's formula now being correctly renamed as the brahmagupta - heron formula.
