Indian courts say the weirdest things when deciding family matters. Perhaps the judges should be reminded that a judge should be a judge, not a marriage counselor or a religious teacher.

wow. divorce due to inability to relocate. India is changing indeed.

sita comment was unwelcome. but isn't it hard to get divorces in india? judges do intervene when possible.

Actually, Sita did divorced Rama at the end. Yes, a wife should be like "Goddess Sita!". No wonder in Karnataka there is a ritual for singles to pray for a husband like Bheema!

I remember that we used to celebrate the festival praying for husband like Bheema and some the cousins and friends prayed for husband like Arjuna, Krishna, and few other names. We were blessed by Grandmas and Granpas like..."Bless you to get a strong and affectionate husband like Bheema!" Also the festival ended by reciting Shiva Parvati songs. All I cared about is that while performing aarti to Dad and brothers they were supposed to accept the arti by honoring us with some money.
