That has seen no cream or dairy and so is not an ice cream. Or does it have vanilla ice cream inside?

not it does not have vanilla ice cream inside (though the photo suggests it does). you are right it is not an ice cream.
lovely! *touchwood* rare to meet a person on this board who gets 8 hrs. sleep (guess most do -- they make up during commutes or weekends). like you once said, the human brain evolved 'cos of animal protein (amino acids something) found in meat. the rest of the evolution, imo, happened when we started sleeping 8 hrs.

Oh, I need a continuous chunk of 8 hours and can't do with 2 hours here, 3 hours there etc. I make it a point to get it on most days. I rarely stay up late - only if there is a very interesting cricket/tennis match going on.
The only time I could not do it was when the kids were infants and weren't sleeping through the night.
Yes, sleep is very important for my brain to function normally.

i also sleep for 7.5 to 8+ hours ewwVrrY night. 11:15 to 7:30 / 8:00. if i sleep for anything less than 7.5, i don't feel fresh during the day.
i never sleep during the day, though. i mean, never ever. not even after eating basundi, shrikhand, jalebi, aamras, rass malai.

Somebody near my sister's place in NJ imports ice creams from Italy and distribute them to high end restaurants. They also sell that ice cream. It is the best ice cream I've eaten.

yes. and if it has 14 consonants and two vowels in its name, it is the best ice cream in the world. the opposite is also true. kwality is the worst ice cream in the world because it is easy to pronounce. but khwkzhallvhtrily is the best ice cream ever.

An Italian ice cream better end in a vowel!

Re: Ice Cream
freaking desis love icecream like there's no tomorrow. infact if you go to any braums, you'll see more than one H4 aunty stuffing her face with banana split on her way to the H4-20. next to free alcohol, icecream is the most requested item on transcontinental airlines that desis fly on. I forget which airline serves them tho but seen some frenzied feeding more than once. not for me tho - I crave salty & spicy.

ROFL. True. But for truly gourmet status, in addition to the above, the ice-cream should have a flavor that common, non-discerning palates find utterly revolting.

Sir, mine was simple curiosity. Far from implying any less-than-a-man status, I was checking to see if he's in the superman league - does all of a man's work and all of the woman's too...

yes, the country of origin also matters. if you have ingredients from more than one country, even better. a beer from germany or belgium is piss-water. but a beer made from ukranian hops, hondurasian barley and eritrean water is the best you could have. you mortals wouldn't know that because you like kingfisher and bud light.

Ok then, go make me a ham sandwich. Brown bread.
After that you can do the beds, vacuum the house, run the washer, do last night's dishes, mend everyone's clothes, pick up groceries and start cooking for the evening.

of course. you are looking for gourmet taste on a stick (feast). that's perverted. why? use a spoon and eat ice cream the normal way if you enjoy it (i don't -- not on a stick and not otherwise).
