Rain saved Nadal from an awesome choke job. He should wrap it up tomorrow.

Oh, hello, R2!
I was wondering where you were when Nadal won at Rome and Monte Carlo.

I only check Tennis socres for prime time chokes. Started with Jana Novotna crying on Duchess' shoulder. There was a huge lull with Federer and williams sisters dominating every one. but now choke jobs are very common with Nadal.

Really? You mean, Djoker is not the indisputable champ who has completely outplayed Nadal? Nadal, the champ, just choked? Djoker won't appreciate this.
How about Federer weeping after the 2009 Aus open? That was the mother of all crying on court.

On another note, I think Djoker will win this. Conditions favour his game more and he is playing very well.

Nadal just seems to keep on losing from great positions... his opponents " have no business winning" those games!

Which ones? Djoker beat him comprehensively in all 6 games last year. Djoker had no business letting the Aus open finals go to 5 sets and yes, after leading in the fifth set, Nadal had no business losing.
Your point?

I missed the game this morn. Will probably miss it tom as well. I need to get my fucking prius fixed. It has a shitty plastic panel that breaks & it is not even covered in warranty. Seriously WTF!!

Glad Nadal won! Yes!
He equals (thought it was one more)- Bjorn Borg's French Open titles record, glad it's Nadal who shares the Red clay glory!

He exceeds Borg - Borg has only 6 and that's why this was an important match from a records perspective. Either Novak holding all 4 grand slams or Nadal surpassing Borg.

Re: Djoker in Finals
I revert back to my previous statement that I thought it was one more than Borg.
Thanks for the correction.

He sure does but for whatever his rockability he is a creature of conditions, he just could not master the heavy ball yesterday in the third set.[this is a fact]
So while he holds the record for the maximum wins I still feel he is not in the same league as Borg for sheer class across surfaces.[this is my rant]
Well so much for my rant against Nadal but the reality is one has to stand up and for such a huge achievement.....

Congratulations BW!
However your assertion that Djoker was the favorite on clay means he has planted some doubts in your mind.

Assertion? Favourite on clay? I said that given the heavy conditions and wet tennis balls that rendered Nadal's main weapon on clay, the high top spin, ineffective, Djoker had a good chance to win.
Nadal 3, Djoker 0 - Clay season this year.

7 French opens, 3-0 vs Djoker on clay: there is only one favorite. Its not like cricket ball that they will change after 80 overs. there was only one favorite. you were just anticipating another collapse
