Re: Kuldip Nayar throws dirt on PV Narasimha Rao
Kuldip nayar has a constant need to prove his secular credentials. He preaches unconditional surrender to pakistan as a way to get peace. Is he still around or did you dig up his.old farts? PV cleaned up his lifes worth of mistakes by boldly taking india to new economic path. If press dominated by parochial ni journos can't see his contributions to hell with them.

===> Why this kolaveri at me?
I just saw this recent newsitem and posted it here.
Did I do something evil and despicable by posting it in this forum?
Even if I had digged up the stuff which was old, so what?
Are you the czar of this forum to dictate to others what kind of articles they should post here?

Sara
i am not mad at you nor did i imply that in post. My anger is reserved for nayar. In order to ingratiate himself to his secular fallowers he made many slanderous comments about pv and vajpayee. Pv's contribution was unique in indian history. Although he was an accidental pm he rose to the occassion and handled the biggest economic crisis of independent india. Nayar has no understanding of pv's personal life but makes comments based on rumors.

PV was a freedom fighter against Nizam's rule in erstwhile Hyderabad state. He was no stranger to atrocities committed by Mohammedan rulers. He certainly had the motivation to do what Nayyar described.

how could any one be certain of pv's motivation? How would madhu limaye know what theaide whispered in pv's ear? Is it unusual for a brahmin to be performing puja? Are there other instances of pv's anti muslim acts?nevada wrote:PV was a freedom fighter against Nizam's rule in erstwhile Hyderabad state. He meets sonia once and declares her to be secular. What was his.evidence? His opinion.
i do not know the details of pv's actions on babri demolition but nayar presents no proof but his opinions. Pv was timid but principled in his political life. His stint as PM gave him a chance to be a transformer. He did. India will not go back to confused semi socialist state ever again.

Re: Kuldip Nayar throws dirt on PV Narasimha Rao
When I read between the lines in Nayyar's article, it comes across as Royal Family boosterism throwing PV under the bus. That said, I do find the Babri demolition a big blot on PV's record, and wish he had done more actively to prevent that. IMO, PV was happy to go along with formal assertions and he was also happy to ignore the ground reality of what Kalyan Singh was openly saying to the public in contradiction of the assurances he gave to the court. In the end, I think he was more guilty of blind trust in the good faith of the BJP leaders than he was of complicity in the demolition.truthbetold wrote:how could any one be certain of pv's motivation? Sir, might I remind you that life doesn't quite work that way. A lifetime's errors don't get wiped clean by a few right moves. Else Whatsisname Modi would be a bipartisan shoo-in for prime-ministership right now.
Yes, PVN presided over India's liberalization but given his self-admitted style of management through inaction, I don't know how much credit should go to him for what his Finance Minister did. The only certain thing one can say is that he didn't impede or hinder the reforms program. On the other hand, his inaction on the Babri front did amount to collusion with the chaddis. That can't be excused by the good he did for the economy.

Islamis burn down 60 and in retaliation 600 iSlamis were killed and MODI is blamed for this despite acquitals by SC.
one unused babri masjid DOME was destroyed and iSlamis destroyed some 400+ temples across Akhand Bharat, but no one is blaming PV for allowing the destruction of the 400+ temples.
That is called Secular bullshyt.

Bwahaha...unkil, your entertainment quotient never diminishes with age. If it'll make you happy, feel free to blame PVN for all those temples destroyed in Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Well, since you're on a roll, go on and blame PVN for all those roadside temples cleared by various local municipal bodies to make way for expressways and broader roads. In India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Now don't let anything come in the way of YOUR obsession of showcasing your secularism by beating on the hindus.

You're entitled to that opinion. If you feel so persecuted by Muslims despite outnumbering them 9:1 that you don't step out after 8pm fearing rape by them, you need to (a) grow a pair or (b) consult a shrink about your illogical fears. In both these endeavors, you'll have plenty of company from your chaddi compatriots.
