Oh well, it's not like she's in some mecca of liberalism right now. Mumbai these days is not too different from Saudi-land.

Cops raid parties and arrest people for drinking without a valid permit. Yes, in this third world dump, one needs to have a permit from the excise department to possess or consume alcohol. The permit entitles a holder to possess all of 2 bottles of liquor at a time.

So these days, I'm on the wrong side of the law...
