Foe's list

should have been named ignore list.

Some of the folks on my list aren't necessarily my foes. I just don't find any value in reading their messages so I filter them out.

Perhaps people should publish their foe lists here... for entertainment.

If you put someone in the foe list, do you not see threads started by them? What if non-foes reply to that thread?

It is too small to publish right now. If some of the folks from old CH move here then my list will definitely get a little bigger.

I do see threads started by them. But I do not see their posts when I open those threads. I see a placeholder which I can click to see their post.

The foes list is actually fairly useless. It would only be used for Mutthukumarrr. why would you want to miss any action?

Kripmaya looks so clueless out there. Its like they are waging a war against some evil forces. Someone needs to quote Einstein to them (on insanity). they have scratched each others backs so vigrously you can see blood. Poor guys are forcing themselves to post to get a notion of oneness. I really pity the folks there.

seven, this is the mush mushy talk i was talking about. People mocking mockable stuff is perfectly fine with me.

krips is a fine poster but she seems to be falling over herself in waging a battle. The war cries sound very childish. the destroyer is going to come do his/her obsession, whatever you say. repeating the same thing again and again expecting different results sounds foolish to me.

I started the coffee series last time around. Tracy and Black Swan were the first pair. I would like to recommend blabberwock and TS to be the next coffee pairing.

I don't see this as bitching. It is making fun of people who are creating a lot of unnecessary drama. If they really wanted to have uninterrupted, meaningful conversations with the 4 or 5 people still left behind, surely, there are other means? An email group, for instance? No, they want drama and the attention they are getting. You are naive if you can't see through that.

In fact, you should appreciate us.

I understand you don't see it as bitching just like they don't see it as drama. to them its the only way they can continue posting there ( bcz they dont wana switch for watever reasons). i am not naive. i find the drama unnecessary too and i find mocking them boring.

You see, it is rather irrelevant what you think of it all.

They need the attention and they are getting it. You are trying to spoil their fun by asking us to ignore it. They will hate you for it. You think TNL could have been such a superhit if not for the dedication shown by a few here? Monologues can't survive on its own for too long - it needs a lot of nurturing and care which is what we have done.

Please, be a good girl now and appreciate the yeoman's effort that we have put in.

TNL used to be a lot better in its day, when SP, Max and Merlot coaxed the avadhAni to his best performance with their hideous SI chhupinder tactics. Have to agree with BW; if everybody stops responding to the philosopher ghazal-listener, he will soon get bored of Self. It already sounds disastrously close to that. What is juvenile about it? Value has many dimensions - some posts have intellectual value, some have humor value; some tickle your imagination and some increase your knowledge.

Reading posts of TS and QB sometimes entertains me in a perverted way too.

But reading posts of the likes of Rekz, Sasthi and Smitasamm (from the old CH) is a complete waste of time.

Some others may find something of value in them, not me.

Value is gain in intellectual, mental, spiritual or material possessions/thoughts/well being. Good humor adds to mental well being so it is valuable. Mockery is not in the same category.

I wonder: if they keep this experiment in back-scratching going, how long it would last before the mask comes off the CEO's face. Maria is genuinely complimentary to people, and she can happily go on in that vein for years. But I very much doubt QB can keep being nice to people for very long!
