i think it is a great movie (with an excellent soundtrack). but it's all style and little substance. only experienced artists can pull "that" off. i think anurag kashyap did in this movie. or maybe i am biased.

part 2 should be a hit too (don't know about the soundtrack).

hit is when film collects double the money spent on it---excluding television rights etc which come later . by that standard the film is not a hit .
