Re: Ramadaan News
Longstanding tensions between ethnic Rakhine Buddhists and Muslim Rohingyas boiled over in Myanmar's Rakhine state early last month, resulting in a series of arson and machete attacks in which the authorities say 77 people were killed and more than 100 wounded.
The riots followed two incidents in the same state: the gang rape and murder of a Rakhine woman - for which three Rohingya youths were sentenced to death - and the vigilante killing of 10 Muslims travelling on a bus less than a week later.
===> Why has this story been repeating for over 1000 years?

May be the world should aside a separate continent --this will require massive relocation --for all the Muslims in the world so that they do not have to put up with non-muslims anymore.

Cockroaches have a knack of getting into others' space - no matter how much you tried to keep them out.

How do those muslim ahletes manage participation in Olympics with fasting during the day? No amount of feasting after sunset will be able to compensate for fasting during day and the demand for performing at the Olympic level in any event for that matter. Are they given any dispensation by powers that be, so they can continue to be annointed as good muslims?

Quron gives guidelines, as for anything else, for this "Olympian quagmire".
put food onthe table/plate the previous night. Then you can eat all day bcz it will be credited toward previous night's dinner.

That's nice, they are trying to find ways to manage, aligning themselves with the sunset or moonrise in Saudi Arabia or Egypt or just postponing the fasting ritual, etc., instead of boycotting Olympics or demanding that all their events be held after they sight the moon in the evening in cloudy England.

Ah, I see. Fasting all day is difficult -- that explains his irritation with his fellow Muslims, then.Hellsangel wrote:panini press wrote:
