the sikh community is between a rock and a hard place and i feel for them. on the one hand they're struggling to explain their own identity to americans, and on the other while doing so and distancing themselves from muslims they may come across as being callous to the troubles faced by the muslim community. kind of a damned if they do and damned if they don't situation. i am also not sure if it would have made an ounce of a difference to this monster knowing that the folks he was shooting up weren't muslims.
